I love You More Than the North is Vast is a story about the depths of our love told through a northern lens. This project was dreamt up by my sister after having her first child, and being the eager auntie I am, I jumped at the chance to join her in making this creative dream come to life.

My main goal was to create illustrations that are fun and colourful. I wanted to bring the reader through northern landscapes to visit loads of silly animals and friends. While the narrative is very playful, we wanted to be conscious of including a diverse set of characters and feature a loving message.

I Love You More Than The North Is Vast was written, with gratitude, on Yellowknives Dene Chief Drygeese Territory. Proceeds from every book sold are donated to a select charity. For the current edition, we have chosen to support BushKids YellowknifeTo date, we were able to donate 2,000$ to charity and send two kids to BushKids with the help of our friends, family and community.Thank you.
